We had a wonderful time, one of the best vacations we all enjoyed. The house did seem a little crowded at times with ten people there, but well worth it. We visited the beach every day, the bikes made it easy to travel there and back. The location is great, good neighbors, and rather simple to go to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and Angels Stadium. Relaxing in the yard, grilling and visiting with family was nice, you couldn't do that in a motel. Watching the fireworks from the rooftop deck on the 4th, was a great view and didn't have to fight any traffic when they were over.

We truly enjoyed out stay at Pineapple Beach House. The house was clean, and well-equipped; and the pool and hot tub made for great family time. Additionally, with a great town and beach within short and leisurely walking distance, as well as easy drives to Disney Land and all San Diego area attractions: this place is tough to beat! We’ll definitely recommend it to our friends!

We had a wonderful holiday, the house was in the right spot, pretty quiet, the garden kept us fresh, it was close from everything, just wonderful!!

We rent vacation houses all over the country. I loved how you had the three unit rental set up with the shared areas. We dont have rentals like this in the Carolinas or Florida. Also we really liked the flowers and landscaping and back patio.

We really loved the house. This was one of the nicest houses we've rented on the beach and we really enjoyed it.

We did want to mention one final thing, by the end of the week, the last 2 days, that intermittent problem we were having with the garage remotes became more severe and in fact it doesn't appear to have anything to do with the remotes, but the garage door opener itself.

The minute we walked into this house, we felt like we had found that one-in-a-million kind of place. It has a great feel—something that even the pictures can't fully convey. This is a home with the type of style and taste that my husband and I just adore: Charming, cozy, clean and clutter-free—with a spectacular view and location. And yet, we felt a nice sense of privacy for being on the strand. It absolutely oozes charm with its cottage style, dutch doors, wood floors, wainscoting and finish work; it was meticulously clean and clutter-free; it is fresh and updated with new carpet and paint ; it is incredibly spacious given its coziness. We loved the comfort of the quality beds and bedding. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen (we used it fully, cooking and BBQ-ing each night). The kitchen was great for several of us to be in there prepping foods, cooking at the stove and having plenty of room to move about. When my sisters and mom and dad came to visit, they were oohhing and ahhing over what a cute house it is...And in the evenings, we just loved turning on the Christmas lights and going out on the sand to look back at "the best house on the whole strand." We felt so privileged to call it "ours"...even if it was just for the time we were there! We look forward to booking it again for another special vacation. Thank you, thank you for suggesting it!

We just got back home from using your homes in Huntinton Beach for the past week. Very nice area and pleasantly enjoyed our time there. We were met by Susan, she was very pleasant and helpful. We had both 630 and 632 Geneva for a family wedding.

632 Geneva is A++++ and excellent. Cannot say more than it is excellent. A++++++ !

- the hot tub pads were covered in black paste, but they were removed while we were there.

- the dryer does not turn off automatically, it keeps going until you stop it manually.

I own a business and appreciate feedback positive or negative. I trust you do as well. I am not trying to sound negative in giving a list, just helpful for your other clients.

Our family plans to return to California in a year or two and will absolutely check your website again. Overall, even though the one home was a little rough, we are very happy on the whole.

Thank you for the use of your rental over the last weekend. We all had a wonderful time In sunny HB California, did alot of walking and biking and eating and Had a great time on Sunday for the Marathon in town, My sister ran the marathon and 9 of us ran or walked the 5K.For some of us it was our 3rd year in a row for that and others 2nd and others first time, Most of us came from Minnesota for the trip, two from Arizona and 2 from San Diego.

We really loved the house and would stay there again. We left the house early this morning. I did most of the laundry, but things weren't drying fast enough. I didn't know how to mop that kind of floor, so I only swept and vacuumed.

I will definitely keep your site on my favorites, as we come to LA area a lot now.

Our next visit is in early April. Do you know where Carson is? We have a tournament in Carson and I think it is in that general area.

Hi! We had a great vacation the house was GREAT! The bikes were the
best part thanks alot!! The kitchen could use some
updated pans and the grill outside could use some TLC as well. The
screen on the top balcony door kept falling off everytime we opened
it. This was a great vacation and we can't wait to come again maybe
even again this summer!!

The ping-pong table was a huge hit as we dusted off our ping-pong skills! We enjoyed the bikes and beach chairs. The weather wasn’t as sunny as we had hoped but we still managed to get in a few volleyball matches at the beach. The spa was a huge hit and we have thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen and BBQ. Hi Mike and Pennae,

Just competed our stay in the 10 Tribute Court condo. (June 7th through the 12th) Let me tell you, we had a great time, we were able to use the pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, bikes, boogie boards, etc, it was ideal for what our family was looking for. Thanks so much for setting us up with this unit. We had 8 people with us, and it fit our needs just perfect. We will keep this in mind as we plan our vacation for next year. I hope we left the place satisfactory. The only suggestion that we could make, that would make the stay a little more comfortable, is the hide a way bed is not much of a bed, and maybe a new mattress would be a nice addition. Other than that we thought things were perfect.

Mike/Pennae,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hawai’i. The neighborhood and lifestyle of in Hawai’i Kai is great. We even managed to kayak over to Starbucks for coffee in the morning a few times. A big highlight for me was running in the Honolulu Marathon (stumbled over the finish line in just over 4 hours). We ran right through the ‘hood and my Mom was sitting at the top of the road to cheer me on. Of course we did all the other tourist stuff and now believe we know all the secret shortcuts to each corner of the Island. We loved it so much that we even also looked at a neighbor’s open house as a future possibility.

We donated a toaster to the inventory of appliances and cleaned up as best we can. I will add the washer is finicky and it seems the switch to empty it and spin is broken (best I can determine not being a technician). It worked most of the time but not all the time. Pi’ilani (sp?) was great. She was very conscientious and friendly and even came over to say good-bye on a day-off. We are already thinking about next year. We have now stayed on 3 of the islands (Oahu, Maui and Big Island). Our favourite is officially Oahu but I think my wife is leaning towards Kauai for our next visit so we will keep you posted on that front.

Hi Mike -

Our family stayed in your property March 3
- 7th. We found it to be the perfect location as it was close to the
beach and also to town.

It was a great beach
house and found the accommodations to meet our expectations in almost
every way. The beds were quite comfortable with good quality linens.
We liked having a code to open the front door (did not have to be
concerned about a key) We had no trouble locking the patio door. There
was no bad odor evident when we checked in or when we left. If there
would have been I obviously would have called you to complain before
settling in. The flooring on the second floor was obviously a carpet to
accommodate sand and was uncomfortable to walk barefoot on. (Solution -
wear shoes)

The dishwasher did require some
ingenuity to get the door closed properly in order to turn it on. We
got it to work. We found the house cleaned to our satisfaction.

Our one complaint - we needed more coffee cups.

We will choose So Cal Hot Properties Vacation rentals for our next trip to Southern California.

tell you how much we are enjoying our stay at 6135 Lindenhurst. The home
is spectacular and very well appointed, the gardens are beautiful, the
neighborhood is lovely, and the Black Cat restaurant is delicious. The
home is beautifully decorated with so many nice touches throughout.
And I can't tell you how great it has been to walk our dog Lucy down
lane after lane of manicured lawns & gardens, beautiful homes, and
friendly people. A real pleasure. The convenient location of the home
has also been great with a lot of nice shopping and restaurants
nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at our rental property on 7th ST It was close to main street and the beach and believe we could not have picked a better place to stay. The house was full of every amenity you could ask for at a beach house from bikes,beach toys, grill, margarita machine and the list goes on. The roof top view was perfect for morning coffee to night cap to end each perfect night. We are already planning to book it again for next year : )

We stayed here for one week and this was a perfect location for us. It was about one mile to the beach and we walked and/or used the bikes to get around. We liked where it was since it was close enough to all of the action during the US Open of Surfing yet far enough away that we did not have any difficulty parking when we took the car out. We enjoyed the hot tub, the BBQ, and the roof top patio. We felt like we were home. It was very comfortable. We would definately stay here again.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We loved the surfer shack vibe inside. It was clean and very

tastefully decorated with a minimalist feel. Our daughters were

delighted with the pool and waterfalls as well as the turtle and fish

pond. This house is directly across the street from one of the most

beautiful public libraries in the country. This house suited our

I really enjoyed my stay at the Geneva house. It was extremely clean and comfortable. It was like being at home, yet on vacation. I really enjoyed using the kitchen too - we made a few great meals during our stay. The house was only a short walk to Main Street, with all the shops and the beach. Some days I walked, some I rode one of the bicycles that was provided. I would definitely return!

This is the second year that my husband and I rented the upstairs floor of your duplex. Each time we invited 3-4 teenagers to join us in Surf City. We use the house to rest, shower, sleep, and a eat a meal or two each day. It works perfect. Otherwise we rent boogie boards and shorty wet suits at a beach shop and ride the waves, fly kites, build sand castles, watch volleyball, cycle along the ocean on your beach cruiser bikes, and hang out at one of the fun restaurants on Main Street. We'll be back!

My husband, 3 boys and my parents rented this property and had a great time. We rented the bikes and rode them to Main Street/the HB Pier to eat and shop. Location is close enough to walk (15 minutes) or bike to the beach. Plenty of room for the family and most everything needed for a great stay. Also - Mike and Chanti were very timely in returning our damage deposit and helpful anytime I had questions. Thanks to Mike and Chanti for a great time!!!

We love this house! We have stayed their twice now and love the way we can spread out. We have little grandkids and it's great to let them run around the side yard and play in the jacuzzi then nap when needed before heading downtown to the beach or shop. The staff of SoCal are very friendly and helpful. The extras we had access to were well maintained and so fun to use with the family. i would recommend this property to families of all ages.

My family rented this house to attend my daughter's graduation from Biola University. The house is convenient to the beach, downtown HB, and to routes to the rest of LA. There was plenty of room for our family to spend time together or have some personal time. To save money, we cooked most of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen instead of going out. My wife and kids loved the hot tub. The whirlpool tub in the master bath is nice, too. One feature not noted in the ad is the roof-top deck, my kids loved spending time up there. The beds are really comfortable, especially the Temperpedic in the first bedroom. There is also a banana plant in the front yard that provided us ripe bananas while we were there.

My friends & I had the BEST time at this lovely beach house. It was very clean, well-stocked & comfortable for the 6 of us. The time, effort & thought that when into our retreat was very much appreciated. We could not have asked for more! I loved my spacious BR & bath which I shared w/ a friend. The products were great & the amenities plenty. There were lots of healthy foods & snacks, & we were just a short walk from many cafes & restaurants. I loved that we could walk everywhere: beach, shops, restaurants. A perfect place for some much needed R&R!!!

From the moment we stepped into the foyer, I got so excited. This property was immaculate, nicely decorated, and cozy. I couldn't wait to look around and explore inside an outside. Once upstairs, I saw that there were beds and baths galore, as well as verandas outside of every bedroom. The owner provided layers of bedding so that we could adjust to the weather. We did a women's health retreat package, so we booked up lots of services and activities, everything that we could squeeze into a few days, all arranged by owner Lisa: chef dinner/class, massage, reflexology, private yoga class on the beach, zentangle art class, pedicures, beach walks, and segway ride. We didn't need to get in the car for anything, and used a nice shuttle service for airport transportation. The beach and downtown are literally only 2 blocks away, and there is a nice Starbucks at the entrance to downtown that makes for a perfect morning walk. The beach is so big and clean, and there is a beachwalk. There were bikes available to use. Nearby also are L.A., Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach

We rented the this house for a month in February 2013. The house is very clean and has new appliances, furniture, washer/dryer, beds, etc. It has a great hi-def TV with Blue-ray DVD player. The area was quiet with friendly neighbors. The thing we liked most was the location. A five minute walk to the beach or to downtown HB and the pier. Being so close meant that we walked down to the pier every evening to watch the sun set. Grocery stores, drugstores, etc. were an easy 10 minute drive with no freeways (or traffic). Huntington Beach felt clean and safe and we loved the laid back surfer vibe of the area.

Mike at SoCal and the house in Huntington Beach are both winners. All my interaction with SoCal was immediate and positive, and I found them most responsive. The house was squeaky clean, ideally located, quiet and comfortable. I definitely will use SoCal again

Great vacation home!

Our family of 4 stayed here in April and had a wonderful time. It was more room than we needed (it could easily sleep 10-12) but the teenagers appreciated having their own space upstairs. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was very well stocked and we made use of the bikes each day. Riding up and down the beach was so beautiful! It was a perfect distance from all the activity and restaurants on Main St… not too close so not noisy, but a very easy walk just 2 blocks away. I appreciated having my Starbucks so close ? The beach was also an easy walk, just 4 short blocks. We used the grocery delivery service so didn’t have to waste time shopping for that, and there is a CVS just before the beach for other incidentals you may need. Our only complaint was probably the sundeck. It was not as comfortable sitting up there as I had hoped; the lounge chairs have been removed. But overall, highly recommended!

I enjoyed staying at this West Hollywood location. I rented it for two months. It is very well located, near LACMA, the Grove (great food market) and third with its attractive restaurants, all within walking distance. The house is cosy and well appointed, old French style. Every one involved with the rental were great. I recommend it. Jean

This place was well worth the price... Minutes to the beach and everything you could need at the house to have a great time wether it be for a family vacation or a get together with some friends. I loved the layout of the house and really enjoyed the palapa above the garage, which was a great place to get some sun or enjoy the evening under the stars. If you are looking for a great place to stay while in Huntington and want all the amenities plus close to everything then check out this rental! I enjoyed my stay and will visit again.

Review #6232774 Terrific views and privacy!

I was really excited to host my family in this Newport Beach home. The pictures did not convey how comfortable this was, nor how vast the gorgeous view of the ocean. We were far enough from the beach that the house did not become full of sand, but close enough to walk down the hill and have our toes in the water within 10 minutes. We could hear the waves and feel the cooling breezes without having to deal with beach car traffic. The swimming pool is about a block into the complex: well maintained too and very relaxing. We even had a cook out at the pool one evening. It really was a great time for all of us, and everyone (5 adults and 2 children) exclaimed many times how "perfect" everything was. I get A's as a hostess and my family has a terrific vacation memory in Newport Beach. I would definitely recommend this place!
