Ocean View Newport It was awesome! We had a beautiful, fantastic family vacation! The view and cool evening breeze on the decks was great! We loved the location - easy access to so much, we need another visit to do more! The boogie boards, bikes, and beach chairs were very much appreciated! We will definitely refer you to family and friends!!

Testimonial for Pineapple PropertyWhat a great place to stay. The kids created so many memories swimming in the pool,playing in the tree house and feeding the turtles and fish in the koi pond. Plenty of room even for a party of 12. Our daily morning walk on the beach was something to look forward to and will be missed. Do stop at the coffee cart at the train station and talk with the lady there. She is a doll and remebered our order every morning. She is a great resource for San Diego and Encinitas sites. A couple days before we left we discovered the living room lights hidden behind a tall plant below the upstairs steps, to the right of the sofa. I exchanged the tall plant with a lower plant in the dinind room and the switch is now visible. The accommodations were great and we had a lovely time. The pool and hot tub was really enjoyed. Sorry calling about the key fob for the pool when we arrived Christmas Eve. We wanted you to know we did not lose it. The key fob was described as a blue triangle but it is actually a grey oval plastic looking thing. We had never seen a key fob like that and didn't recognize it. Hi Pennae Thank you! My sisters and I enjoyed our stay very much. Your place is comfortable and beautifully decorated. I loved the bikes. We discovered the doggy beach and had a blast watching the dogs play at the beach. We are animal lovers. On Monday I was all by myself so I spent the afternoon at the Hyatt Spa and got a much needed massage. The facilities were beautiful. We loved walking down main street in the evening and then the pier. Thank you again. I will definitely return when I get the chance. Silvia

Hi Pennae, We had a wonderful time, one of the best vacations we all enjoyed. The house did seem a little crowded at times with ten people there, but well worth it. We visited the beach every day, the bikes made it easy to travel there and back. The location is great, good neighbors, and rather simple to go to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and Angels Stadium. Relaxing in the yard, grilling and visiting with family was nice, you couldn't do that in a motel. Watching the fireworks from the rooftop deck on the 4th, was a great view and didn't have to fight any traffic when they were over. Thanks, Paul Pickle

Pennae, We truly enjoyed out stay at Pineapple Beach House. The house was clean, and well-equipped; and the pool and hot tub made for great family time. Additionally, with a great town and beach within short and leisurely walking distance, as well as easy drives to Disney Land and all San Diego area attractions: this place is tough to beat! Hi Pennae, We rent vacation houses all over the country. I loved how you had the three unit rental set up with the shared areas. We dont have rentals like this in the Carolinas or Florida. Also we really liked the flowers and landscaping and back patio. Thank you, Ann Newsom

Dear Pennae: We really loved the house. This was one of the nicest houses we've rented on the beach and we really enjoyed it. We did want to mention one final thing, by the end of the week, the last 2 days, that intermittent problem we were having with the garage remotes became more severe and in fact it doesn't appear to have anything to do with the remotes, but the garage door opener itself. This is the second year that my husband and I rented the upstairs floor of your duplex. Each time we invited 3-4 teenagers to join us in Surf City. We use the house to rest, shower, sleep, and a eat a meal or two each day. It works perfect. Otherwise we rent boogie boards and shorty wet suits at a beach shop and ride the waves, fly kites, build sand castles, watch volleyball, cycle along the ocean on your beach cruiser bikes, and hang out at one of the fun restaurants on Main Street.
